Weekend Plans

So I guess I'll just put a quick post up here about my fun-filled birthday weekend plans.

Well I'm thinking that it'll all start out on Friday, as weekends usually do. I am considering going to the Parade of Lights with some people from my YAM group. If I don't do that I might see about just hanging out with some friends, who aren't going to the parade of lights. Friday will probably be the most relaxed day of the weekend.

Saturday I am going to go up to Breckenridge to begin my quest to learn to Snowboard.
Saturday night, if I am not too sore from my first day of learning to ride, I am going to hop on down the hill.

Sunday I do the church thing. I am actually helping out with the service for the month of December. They finally got around to asking I guess. It's all good, I look forward to being a part. The most fun part, other than worshiping my Lord of course, will be heading out to Invesco Field at Mile High to watch Jay Cutler's debut as the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos! Yes, I do have tickets to this game and I'll thoroughly enjoy it. No matter how cold it gets.

Monday I get to be in the office all day and have people telling me happy birthday. I love that so much. A couple people from the office are taking me out for a birthday lunch. I am so excited. We all know how much I love my birthday.

So that's my plans. It'll be a busy weekend, but it's gonna be great! I just have to survive two more days at work. Later

Mondays.

Yes it is a monday. I have lots of stuff to do. I don't want to do any of it. I am sitting here at my desk blogging. I left my cell at home over lunch, so that's been driving me nuts since then. I had a really up and down weekend. Up was Saturday and Sunday morning. Down was Sunday night. Went over to my brother's house to watch the Broncos game. Game was stressful, but that is how all these games are with Jake Plummer. Ugh. Jake. So I'm sure that all my Cowboys fan friends will let me hear about how they beat the Colts.
On a lighter note, hopefully, I got tickets to the Denver v. Seattle game for December 3rd. That'll be a nice precursor to my birthday.
Yes, that means that my Birthday is on December 4th. I still don't know what I plan to do for it, but I'm sure I will think of something. I have had a couple ideas, but I would like to afford all my friends the opportunity to be there for birthday festivities.
I am really looking forward to going down to my younger brother's graduation ceremony in mid-December. Going to Arkansas can't be that bad. can it? At least the drive back to Colorado could probably be fun times.
I'm so behind on my video games that I can't even consider purchasing a Wii. I really want to cause Twilight Princess looks AMAZING. But I think that I will complete FFXII first.
I am planning to get up to the mountains real soon. Start my Snowboard learning fun. Let's hope that it goes well and that I can pick it up easily.
So yeah, that's about it for now. Feel free to leave comments.

Quick Update

Here's a quick update for the recent past and near future.

1. Went to the YAM retreat this past weekend, it was fantastic.
2. Did great on my Training classes this week.
3. Going to the "Pseudo-Family" for Thanksgiving.
Pseudo-Family = That is my brother's in-laws. If you can think of a better way to describe them please let me know.
4. Going to Arkansas in December for the younger brother's graduation.
5. Having the whole Baugh clan coming to Colorado for Christmas.
6. Trying my hardest to think of a fun-filled birthday extravaganza.
7. Trying to find time to work, play FFXII, stay relatively current on my five million tivo'd shows, and spend quality time with my friends
8. I am recording WAY too much on my Tivos. I think I'm up to about 6 recordings per day. Most of which are hour long shows.
9. Playing Hoops with the guys at church on Thursdays
10. Attempting to be active in the University Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

One Month Out

Today marks, One month till I am 27. I don't know how I feel about turning 27 yet. I am, however, fielding ideas for what to do for my birthday party. Last year I got a group to go to Dave & Busters and it was a blast. But this year, I am feeling something different. Give me your thoughts.
I went to my first Avelanche game tonight. It was fun, it was actually my first Hockey game too. It was nice, they won. I don't have any idea what was going on. I was taking cues from the people around me as to when I should cheer. My biggest question is: Can you tackle? The other team seemed to be tackling the Avs a bunch, and all the crowd would boo. But the Refs (are they called refs in hockey) would never do anything. It is so confusing.
Ok that's it. Remember, Thirty Days.
