Ok, so my fun news for today. I guess it could be construed as my new stuff for people to think I am crazy because of. I got my shipping e-mail about my new TiVO today. It looks like I will have it tomorrow! That makes me happy. So in light of this new information, I have already called Comcast and scheduled a service visit for them to bring me an additional digital cable box and to activate the final cable jack in my apartment. I also have acquired the temporary use of a small television set from my brother for Friday. So what does this all mean? It means that I will have a TiVO and cable box on the floor in my bedroom that will not be connected to a TV for now. I will also have my new TiVO connected to my main TV and cable box in the living room area of my apartment. Both these TiVOs will be connected to my home network and I will be able to access the shows recorded on the Bedroom TiVO from the Living Room TiVO. I will also no longer have to deal with precedence or recording conflicts. I seriously doubt that there will ever be three shows on at one time that I want to record, but you never know.
That's my fun news. Well, fun for me.
