One Year into it.

I have been living in Colorado for one year. I've been looking back at everything from this past year. It is amazing to me how much has changed. I would have to say that this past year rates up there with some of the most "successful" years in my life. I have accomplished more in this past year than any time I can remember. At this point, I can say that I'm happy. Even when I am not having the best of days, there is still this underlying happiness. Which is a really great feeling. Things just have tended to go my way for a while. I'm not really looking forward to this wave cresting. Let's hope that there is still lots of time on the upswing.

There has been alot that has happened since my last post. But it is one of those times when I really just don't feel like writing any of it down. I have been extremely busy with work lately, there have been lots of late hours working recently, and it is not going to stop just yet.

I started reading the Chronicles of Narnia in preparation for the release of the the Narnia movie. (releases on April 4th) I zipped through the Magician's Nephew this past weekend. It was mentioned that I should probably read it before seeing the movie (I totally missed it in the theater) in that it has the story of how Narnia was created. In the feeling that my thumbs needed a workout I picked up Tetris DS this weekend. Got to 200 lines on Sunday afternoon.

Last week I renewed a lease for the first time. I have not stayed in one place long enough to renew a lease since I lived with my parents before college. This is a big deal for me. It is totally reinforcing my notion that I am finally home. I really love being in Colorado so much. As I have mentioned before to some people, for me to move out of Colorado, she would have to be pretty fantastic.

I talked to my little brother on the phone for a bit last night. He's been going through some big decisions in regards to school here lately. Keep him in mind.

That's about it for now.
